I've had this "Navigation database unavailable" fault for the past week. It doesn't seem to be resolving itself, and rebooting the MMI hasn't fixed it either. If you use the key to unlock the car while you walk towards it, the MMI has a few more seconds to boot up compared to touching the door handle to unlock or even worse, getting into an unlocked car parked in the garage. May 20, 2018 · Apple CarPlay retrofit for C7 A6 (pre facelift) - any recommendations? I have a 2012 A6 and I’d like to use Apple CarPlay on the nav screen and operate it with the car’s MMI controls. I’m curious if anyone has experience with the Naviplus system or something similar. It seems like very few have tried to retrofit Android Auto or CarPlay.
